As of 1st December 1999 the complete range of sales, marketing, technical support and training services provided by Bristol based Autodesk Authorised Dealer T B Design Systems Ltd was taken over by Autodesk Systems Centre Excitech Ltd of Enfield, Middlesex.

Design Systems Ltd
was founded in 1990 by Tim Bates and gained a strong reputation for providing
AutoCAD based systems with a high level of support and personal contact to
clients in the South West of the UK. The company received special accreditation
from Autodesk for the supply of CAD systems within the Built Environment
industry sector and focussed on AutoCAD AEC and Architectural Desktop software
based solutions
From 1st December 1999 until October 2008 Tim was a full time employee of Excitech Computers.
Tim is currently Director of EMEA Operations at Newforma Inc.
